

Abraham J. Platt earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Arts and Theater from SUNY College at Buffalo, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He studied law at SUNY at Buffalo, School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude in 2008. Following admission to the New York State bar, Abe entered the legal profession at a general practice firm, working primarily in the areas of Family and Domestic Relations Law. In 2013, in addition to his private practice, he joined the legal department at the Niagara County Department of Social Services, ultimately being appointed as Chief Counsel for the agency before departing in 2025.
In April 2024, Abe joined Seaman Law LLP as an associate attorney before accepting an invitation to become a partner in April 2026. Over the course of his career, Abraham J. Platt's areas of practice have expanded to include multiple fields, including real estate and conveyances, contract matters, estate planning, probate and estate administration and municipal law. In August 2025, Abe was appointed as Town Attorney for the Town of Cambria. He also provides counsel to several other local municipalities, including Royalton and Somerset, and has served as the Town of Lockport Prosecutor since January 2025. This wide-ranging experience has allowed Abe to develop and hone the legal acumen and professional and inter-personal insight to assist his clients with a variety of matters.
