Thomas D. Seaman

Thomas D. Seaman earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2001. He then studied law at SUNY Buffalo, School of Law, where he served as a Publication’s Editor for Buffalo Law Review and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2007. Following law school, Tom entered the legal profession focusing on civil litigation. He has handled hundreds of personal injury lawsuits related to automobile accidents, injuries on property, and construction accidents. In addition, Tom served as a trial lawyer for two publicly-traded insurance companies for over a decade. With this experience, Thomas gained intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the insurance industry. Furthermore, this practice provided Tom with the skills, insight, and perspective needed to obtain significant settlements for his injured clients.

In January 2019, Tom accepted an invitation to join Seaman Law LLP as a partner. Thomas Seaman's areas of practice have expanded to include various fields, including estate planning, real estate/land transfers, probate and estate administration, trusts, business formation, contracts, and municipal law. In January 2021, Tom was appointed as Town Attorney for the Town of Lockport. He also serves as Attorney for the Town of Lewiston Planning Board and Zoning Board and counsels several other local municipalities and organizations. Tom is a New York State Bar Association member, the Erie County Bar Association, and the Niagara County Bar Association.

Daniel E. Seaman

Daniel E. Seaman graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1967, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, graduating Cum Laude in 1971. While at SUNY Buffalo, Daniel Seaman served as Articles Editor of the Law Review.

Mr. Seaman was a VISTA Attorney before joining the firm of Seaman and Seaman in 1972. He was an Assistant Niagara County District Attorney and Assistant Public Defender and served as the Niagara County Public Defender. In 2000, Mr. Seaman merged with Morgan L. Jones, Jr. and F. Gerard Hogan and the retired firm members to form Seaman, Jones, Hogan & Brooks, LLP. 

Daniel Seaman joined with his son, Brian Seaman, in 2013 to start the firm Seaman Law LLP, where he currently practices law. 

Mr. Seaman’s practice includes real estateestate planningelder lawestate administration, and business and corporate matters. He also represents several municipalities and municipal boards and has an area of concentration in zoning and planning development. Mr. Seaman is a Lockport, Niagara County, and New York State Bar Associations member.
